In October, the Lisbon Beer Department is once again taking inspiration from Munich to create a very Portuguese version of one of the world's biggest beer celebrations. On October 18th, the Oktober Party 2025 takes over the spaces of the independent and craft breweries located between Marvila and Cabo Ruivo, with more than 40 varieties of beer and a carefully selected musical program. Access is free and the party runs from 13:00 to 03:00 at Dois Corvos, Fermentage, MUSA, Oitava Colina and Pravda, which is making its debut at the celebration this year.

In terms of music, the line-up combines established and emerging names in national music. Highlights include Pop Dell'Artea Lisbon collective that for decades has mixed experimental pop, avant-garde and performance art, and Cave Storya post-punk band that revitalizes rock and pop with intensity and wit. The explosive and visceral energy of Black Wizardsthe experimental and emotional rock of AVESSOthe fusion of Latin American rhythms of San La Muerte Cumbia Clubthe blues, stoner and experimental music of Damn Sessionsthe stoner-rock of Desert'Smokethe irreverence and strength of Slug and the downtempo and trip-hop landscapes of Subnoia. Complementing this sound universe, various DJs take over the dancefloors, bringing global beats, house, electroclash, techno and Afro-Latin rhythms. Among them, Hause Plants, Mical Bacho, Guerrilla Sound System, La Salsa Del Pueblo, Omnika or Margarida Campelo.

As is tradition, the brew masters of all the houses collaborated on a special beer for the occasion. A Oktober Party 2025Kolsch has a bright golden color, balancing malty notes with fruity and floral aromas, resulting in a light, dry and refreshing finish, perfect to accompany the journey between breweries.

Gastronomy is once again the star of the party, with proposals designed for each venue. At Oitava Colina, international cuisines add flavor to the event with the menus Makitchen, with typical Venezuelan food, Ten-Ta-Te, with Argentine specialties, and El Rincón Mexicano, with tacos, tamales and nachos. At Fermentage, authentic Texan barbecue will be served in collaboration with KAU - Barbecue Texano, while at MUSA, Joana Barrios and Leonor Godinho (Bibs) will once again gather behind the pans to prepare comforting sandwiches, ideal for recovering energy between concerts and drinks.

Oktober Festa 2025 is, once again, an invitation to explore Marvila among beer, music and gastronomy, in an open, diverse and festive celebration, where each space offers a unique and complementary experience.
