ABOUT US
Founded in 2016, Cerveja Musa has, from the very beginning, aimed to make craft beer more accessible in Portugal. A beer for everyone, not just for a select few. Without pretension or arrogance, without affectations or gimmicks. A brand that stands on its own two feet, guided more by its own desires than by the tastes of others. It’s free, light, and easygoing.
Sounds good? It tastes even better.
Who are we looking for?
Someone to join the programming department—that is, the festival committee for Marvila, Bica, Virtudes, Colares, and Ajuda.
What are the requirements?
- Liking to be the last one to leave the party.
- To be knowledgeable about music and different musical styles and genres, which means knowing how to sing the "Toxic" backwards and forwards while also recognizing the place of that feminist, free-spirited band from Barreiro. A passion for music, but without purism.
- Staying up to date on the music scene—especially the domestic one—by keeping track of new artists, trends, and movements.
- Creative instinct: the ability to throw a party out of a box of matches.
- Boldness and a great sense of humor: don’t be afraid to come up with silly, out-of-place ideas. There’s always room for mechanical bulls in this room.
- Immediate availability: a desire to join the team and put ideas into practice.
- Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and work with artists, agents, internal teams, and other partners.
- Planning and execution skills: organizing schedules, managing timelines, and overseeing processes from the first point of contact to the final song.
To do what?
- Thinking about parties, both inside and outside of them: coming up with ideas, imagining concepts, and constantly looking for new ways to create happy moments.
- Discover, select, and propose artists who align with Musa's identity.
- Negotiate terms and finalize agreements with artists, agents, bookers, and promoters.
- Don't leave people hanging—evaluate and respond to proposals from artists, keeping a keen eye out for good opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of concerts and performances, ensuring that everything goes as planned and that artists and crews have what they need.
- Work closely with the bar and communications teams to ensure that each event is meaningful, reaches the right audience, and stays true to Musa’s identity.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Joining a company in turmoil, full of inspired individuals (sometimes, admittedly, due to heavy consumption of the product it manufactures).
- Responsibility by the shovelful.
- A completely informal, results-oriented environment.
- Salary based on experience.
- Hybrid work arrangement.
- Beer. Probably too much beer…
