On Saturday, October 17, Oktober Festa returns to Marvila. The Lisbon Beer Department is transforming the neighborhood into a very Portuguese version of Munich: concerts, DJ sets, food pop-ups, and the launch of a collaborative beer—all to be enjoyed as you go from place to place. Admission is free, and the party runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at Dois Corvos, Fermentage, MUSA, and Oitava Colina.
IN MARVILA'S MUSE: Loud Noise with Substance and a Full Belly
At concerts, GANSO—a Lisbon-based band that, over the course of a decade, has made reinvention one of its hallmarks—the songs by João Não & Lil Noon and PIPADEMA$A—on the day marking the release of their debut album—create an irreverent universe that blends pop, rock, punk, hyperpop, and electronic music. On the dance floor, DJ sets by Bateu Matou, Baby Rocket and GOSTODTI. To top it all off, the terrace features Freddy’s Pizza from Arroios and once again opens its doors to Nepalese cuisine, with a pop-up created in-house by Dhirendra Bom.
AND IN THE NEIGHBORS' HOMES
In Dois Corvos, the volume cranks up with the punk rock of Ervas Daninhas, the alternative metal of Stereophobia, Mish Mish, Scúru Fitchádu, a project by Marcus Veiga that blends Cape Verdean and African influences with the energy of punk and electronic music, and the electronic set by Clap na Cara. Out front, at Rua Capitão Leitão, No. 94, there’s a barbecue so no one goes hungry.
In Fermentage, Gatafunho, which transforms everyday life and urban disillusionment into a soundscape of incisive bass and drums, distorted guitars, and electronic textures—the garage rock of the Pink Pussycats From Hell, the lo-fi guitars of tédio fc , and the DJ set by Acid Acid, featuring the Raiders running the show in the DJ booth.
On the Eighth Hill, Neil Fernandes and Projecto Jazz Rock, Wehz and a DJ set by Ritmos Cholulteka, with tacos from SR Taco and artisanal, long-fermented pizzas from Millz.
AND BECAUSE THERE'S NO OKTOBER WITHOUT A PARTY
As is now tradition, the brewers at the Lisbon Beer Department come together to create a beer just for the occasion. The Festival is a festbier brewed especially for this edition, designed to accompany you as you make your way between the four venues throughout the day.
Oktober Festa 2026 is, once again, an invitation to explore Marvila amid craft beer, music, and cuisine, in an open, diverse, and festive celebration where each venue offers a unique and complementary experience.
