This beer is 100% inspired by the town of Caniçal on Madeira Island. More specifically, the hit My Land is Caniçal (2009)by Júlio Nunes from Caniçal. A craft beer that highlights a very local ingredient and theme - as usual.
The jola is ideal for hot days or to accompany dishes with a taste of the beach, such as grilled tuna or marinated skipjack tuna. An excellent choice for those looking for a beer beer.

For many, a hidden land. For others, an incubator of talent. Great fishermen were born there, if only Caniçal hadn't been a fishing village known for its tuna and skipjack fishing... And whale fishing, until the 80s. But that's a thing of the past. Júlio Nunes was born there, a modern and legendary troubadour, the muse of this beer.
And also Emanuel Santos: the sculptor of the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo statue at Madeira Airport, who is now President of the Caniçal Parish Council. After learning this and drinking this fantastic beer, you automatically become an unofficial honorary resident of this beautiful land.
