MUSA BEER
Born in 2016, Cerveja Musa's aim from the outset has been to democratize craft beer in Portugal. A beer brand that was born to make a difference through its positioning, where freedom and lightness always hold hands. A meeting point for visions, ideas, flavors and experiences. A brand with open arms and wide-open gates. For everyone, for everyone, for everyone.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for someone who loves numbers and has an eye for business. A person with a surgical eye, an analytical mind and a collaborative spirit. A pattern detector, an Excel master with a talent for connecting the dots: from sales to production, from bars to e-commerce, from investment to return. A super freak who is not given to gambling.
TO DO WHAT?
To turn data into decisions, reports into opportunities and insights into music to our ears.
FUNCTIONS
- Analyze our bars' sales in detail: by bar, product, day of the week, time, discounts applied and everything else that makes the machine go round.
- Relate sales to direct investments, such as programming or local actions, to understand what really moves the needle.
- Analyze HORECA, supermarket and export sales by region, customer, product and discounts applied.
- List sales by client with quantities, prices and investments made (e.g. installation of equipment).
- Analyze e-commerce sales by product, campaign or specific initiative.
- Carry out ad hoc analyses with ease - from sales trends to price changes, making deep use of billing system databases.
- Analyze costs by area, comparing them with similar periods and with the plan, identifying opportunities to make savings without losing flavor.
- Preparing monthly results analysis and data to support revisions to the business plan.
- Monitoring the cost of production by type of beer and by batch, ensuring that the systems are up to date.
- Mastering the Muse's various financial and administrative systems, building maps and analyses whenever necessary.
- Supporting the other functions of the financial area: validating and analyzing invoices, current accounts, cash flows, preparing information for accounting, etc.
- Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Bars, Logistics and Production - because nobody walks alone here.
- Do everything necessary to ensure that the above activities are carried out with rigor and good humor.
REQUIRED
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Management or Data Science.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and similar tools.
- Preference for those who already know invoicing and stock management software (or who can learn quickly).
- Strong analytical skills and an appetite for detail.
- Organization, focus and autonomy.
- English (nice to have, but not a requirement).
- Curiosity and a love of working in different areas.
- Some affinity with the fantastic world of craft beer.
DESIRABLE
- Previous experience in management control or similar functions.
- Familiarity with databases and information extraction.
- Comfort working with multiple systems and platforms.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate insights clearly.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Integration into a startup in turmoil, full of inspired individuals (sometimes, admittedly, due to the high consumption of the product manufactured).
- Responsibility to the hilt.
- Informal, direct and collaborative culture.
- Salary in line with experience.
- Beer. A lot of beer. Probably too much beer.
